Susan Tomlinson is a botanical artist, writer, and teacher in Lubbock, Texas. She holds a BFA in Studio Art, and an MS and Ph.D. in Geology. She is an Associate Professor in the Honors College at Texas Tech University, and a member of the Texas Tech University Teaching Academy. Dr. Tomlinson is also the recipient of the TTU Chancellor's Council Distinguished Teaching Award, the TTU President's Excellence in Teaching Award, and the Spencer G. Wells Creativity in Teaching Award. She is also a member of the ASBA Board of Directors.
